What is this?

I have a clear, small (2-3mm) bubble-looking bump in the very back of my mouth (Right behind that hangy thing in ur mouth. By the way, it doesnt hurt at all or anything, just feels uncomfortable cuz i can kinda feel it back there in my mouth. it doesnt hurt, its not inflammed or swollen or anything. What is it? and how can i get rid of it?
Answer:
Have the area checked by your dentist. If it's behind the uvula (the 'hangy' thing), then it's in your throat... if the dentist clears you, could you possibly have strep throat? In either case, you should be seen by a professional to diagnose your 'bump'.Good Luck!:)
If it is behind your tonsil (the hangy thing), I am going to infer that it is most likely hydrochloric acid that came up to your throat possinbly when you burped or coughed. it is nothing to be worried about, and wil eventually go away.
I'm not sure what they are but you can pick them out with a toothpick I think it 's a collection of tooth plaque
That hangy thing is called an Uvula. you may have had something hot to drink or eat and caused a mild blister. Gargle with warm ( or room temp) water with a little salt in it. If it does not go away in a week or if you notice white patches in the back of your throat, get it checked right away.
Fever is another sign to watch for. You may have an infection if you experience fever with the bumps.
check it out with your dentist, but snowluk is probably right about the plaque thing.PS- the hangy thing is a uvula, not a tonsil. and dont touch the "hangy thing". its part of the gag reflex.
go to your dentist if it does not go away...it could be an absess...but if it disappears in a week or so than you could have just burned the back of your mouth with something hot, kissing any hot girl lately:) lol...i know not funny but if it does last longer than a wek do go to your dentist...he can probably take care of it right there it for you...
