Whats an effective method to deal with wisdom tooth pain?

Answer:
If they are impacted then see a dentist and probably have them removed. However if they are coming in normal, and it's just the soreness from breaking through the skin. Try something like a novacaine gel, or Anbesol, plus maybe a nice cool teething ring :)
extraction
Take some motrin, warm salt water rinses and ask your DDS if they should come out.
Go see a dentist.
Get them pulled, then keep plenty of gauze around.
Exactly. Get an appointment and have it removed.
ibuprofen for the swelling and try ambesol or chewing on a clove(it has a numbing effect)
Get them pulled out
take a zip of tequila and hold it on your mouth on the side of the tooth for a while that calms the pain
Go to the dentist
Drink till you cant feel the pain... works for me every time...
the doctor should have prescribed you vicodin or a pain reliever. If you have pain call your doc
Ask your dentist for some pain killers. They make life a lot easier.
I would suggest seeing a dentist if that is not something possible right now. Try taking some pain meds. Tylenol something like that. Some times if you eat cold things it tends to numb the teeth so try that. My finance actually got his pulled today and is doing ok. It's not to bad. But it is something to consider. If they have come out already they may just need to pull them. If not they may have to do surgery. That isn't bad either.
