What makes your tongue turn green after you have an extraction and take antibiotics?

Answer:
The green is probably from something you ate that turned the candidiasis infection on your tongue green. This fungal infection is traditionally white and can be removed leaving red swollen tissue underneath. You probably just drank coffee or something that stained the fungus. It will go away once you stop the antibiotics or you can go see your dds and he/she can prescribe an antifungal. good luck
It's actually a type of fungus growing on your tongue. Call your dentist right away.
My tongue didn't turn green and I had one pulled last Monday and was taking antibiotics also.
ok im not sure about green but when you take antibiotics sometimes it can cause a yeast infection in your mouth its called thrush it usually coats your tongue white and patches inside your mouth for that you go to the doctor and they will give you medication to swish around in your mouth daily, but again never heard of green
