I am looking into getting a new orthodontist so I can get a new retainer, but I would like to know the approximate cost of getting one before i go to the office to avoid embarrasment.

A clear plastic one is about $50
A wire one is $75
But this is just at my orthoNo idea what you mean about visits, though.
Very Expensive
around 150 each. The lab cast is around 60 tp 80 dollars for the dentist. They'll charge around 150 again each. At, least where i work. And i see the lab slips and the lab fee schedule.
Mines were $200 each, in Ca. =)
you will have to call your orthodontist to get an accurate price on this being that everyone is different with pricing they would know the approxiamate pricing..call and you wont be embarrassed just dont say who you are...:)
